Among the faces that are attracting the most attention from the public thanks to the success of Obsession there is undoubtedly Inde Navarrette, a young actress who with her performance in the horror thriller directed by Curry Barker has managed to conquer viewers and insiders. The film, which in recent weeks has become one of the most discussed titles among fans of the genre, has helped to further increase the popularity of the actress, prompting many to wonder who she really is and what were the steps that led her to Hollywood.

In the film Navarrette plays Nikki, the girl at the center of the story starring Bear, played by Michael Johnston. It all kicks off when a wish expressed through a mysterious supernatural toy triggers a series of disturbing and increasingly dangerous events, turning what seemed like a simple teenage crush into a real nightmare. The actress’ performance was among the most appreciated aspects of the film, contributing to the success of a work that many viewers have already indicated as one of the most interesting horror surprises of recent years.

Born with the name of Danielle Fabiola Navarrette, the actress developed a strong interest in the world of acting very early on. The nickname “Inde”, by which she is known today by the general public, was given to her by her mother when she was still a child because of her particularly autonomous and independent character. The passion for cinema instead came thanks to the influence of his maternal family. On several occasions, the actress has said that she grew up listening to conversations about great Hollywood icons and those stories helped fuel the desire to pursue a career in front of the camera.

Over the years she has participated in numerous projects that have allowed her to accumulate experience and visibility. Among the works that have helped build her path are productions such as Denton’s Death Date, Cross Words Together, Wander Darkly and several short films that have allowed her to hone her talent in front of the camera.

Her filmography was then enriched with the participation in Trap House, an action thriller with Dave Bautista, confirming a constant professional growth that gradually led her to obtain increasingly relevant roles. One of her best-known roles is that of Estela de la Cruz in the fourth season of 13 Reasons Why, where in the series she plays Monty’s younger sister, a girl who tries to clarify the events that involved her brother and who over the course of the story develops an important relationship with Tyler, giving life to one of the most significant subplots of the last episodes.

The consecration with the general public, however, came thanks to Superman & Lois, a series in which she played Sarah Cushing, the character, daughter of Kyle and Lana, quickly became one of the most recognizable faces of the show thanks to her connection with the Kent brothers and the romantic relationship with Jordan.

The great response obtained by the horror film seems to represent only the beginning of a particularly important phase in the actress’s career. Navarrette is in fact already involved in several new projects that could further consolidate her position among the most interesting emerging talents of the new Hollywood generation. Among the titles already announced are Invertigo and Kids of the Black Hole, productions that will allow the actress to explore different registers and once again demonstrate her versatility.

Thanks to the enormous visibility obtained with Obsession, Inde Navarrette is quickly building its space within the film industry, the actress seems to have all the characteristics to become one of the most interesting names to follow in the coming years, and the success achieved with the new horror could represent only the first step towards even more ambitious goals.
